Photos of Before and After

Restoration began in 2011 by caring Volunteers. The inside was in pretty bad shape and parts of the floor rotted out.  With only $9000 raised between 1985 and 2011, that is what we had to work with.  Without the hard work of Volunteers and donations from local businesses, we would not have been able to accomplish what we did without their help.

Windows were made in the basement and neighbors joined in to help out in many areas of the school.  With several months of hard work the school was safe and ready for the public.

On Sept. 24th, 2011 the volunteers held an 'open house' and had a BBQ for all to view the renovations. Since then the Darby School children have visited each April to view the School. The School is open to the public for viewing year round.
